You would think that someone who spends a whole lot of time studying, learning, researching and writing about healthy eating habits would stay miles away from cakes and sweets.
You would assume that such a person would never choose baking and cake decoration as a hobby and would celebrate birthdays and similar occasions without cakes or at least with a healthy alternative.
I admit I have done that, too. But, honestly now, who wouldn’t want to be presented with a beautiful personalized cake on their birthday?
Giving joy to my family and friends is the main reason I decorate cakes, cupcakes and other sweets. The secondary reason is that this hobby serves well as an outlet for my creativity bursts. I chose to share a few samples of this creative hobby on my blog as another token of my strong belief in moderation. When healthy habits are the norm, special occasions can do no harm. When your own rules of healthy living are followed consistently, the exception can only be enjoyable. Otherwise, all those wonderful pastry chefs out there who create miracles would have a serious problem, don’t you think?
That’s why I wanted to share my own sweet creations with you. I hope you’ll like them. But I have to warn you. If you find dessert images tempting, proceed with caution!
